Alliance Finance signs agreement with OpenArc to launch BankFair

Alliance Finance PLC, a well reputed finance company in Sri Lanka with over 75 branches located country wide, recently signed the agreement with OpenArc Systems Management (Pvt) Ltd. to launch BankFair.

BankFair is a customer onboarding platform with unique features, developed by OpenArc Systems Management (Pvt) Ltd. for Banks and other Financial Institutions (BFIs). Using the platform any prospective customer can make requests for financial facilities. The facility could be any type of a loan, lease or a deposit. BFI’s Marketing Officers will receive requests and make offers through the platform which is running on cloud and managed by its service provider OpenArc Systems Management (Pvt) Ltd. BankFair provides a market place for any BFI officer to meet customers and discuss the requirements, do the initial screening, recommend the prospective customers to the respective Core Banking System of the BFI. There are multiple modes available for the BFIs to capture new businesses using BankFair.

Alliance Finance has been with OpenArc as a customer since 2001 using OpenArc’s InBank Finance System.

CVC Finance Bangladesh forms a technology partnership with OpenArc to go digital

CVC Finance Limited (CVCFL), a fast growing financial institution in Bangladesh, signed the technology partnership agreement with OpenArc Systems Management (Pvt) Ltd. on 15th September 2021 to develop FinTech products to make CVCFL’s digital transformation journey a success, following the MoU signing that took place between the two companies in early 2021. This technology partnership will facilitate both parties to develop and grow in their respective areas of expertise. Under this, OpenArc will develop and implement number of innovative FinTech solutions that would help CVCFL to be ahead of the highly competitive finance industry in Bangladesh. The digital transformation journey that CVCFL embarked on under the technology partnership with OpenArc consists of several stages. In the first stage, OpenArc will implement CVC Mobile App and provide an interface for eKYC system of CVCFL. Implementing of the loan origination system, Wallet and SkyBank core banking system will take place in second, third and fourth stages respectively.

Victoria University recognizes OpenArc IDSD Diploma in IT

Victoria University, Australia recently selected OpenArc Campus as an external partner and recognized the Industrial Diploma in Software Development (IDSD) Programme conducted by OpenArc for talented students after an A/L examination seeking job opportunities in the ICT sector. IDSD is an industry-oriented diploma conducted by OpenArc Campus with the intention of recruiting the best students as Software Developers at OpenArc and other Software Development companies. The Victoria University has offered a one-year exemption from their IT Degree program for the students who complete the IDSD Diploma at OpenArc, Sri Lanka so that the students will have a pathway to proceed with the top-up degree at the Victoria University.

Inauguration of MBIT 12th Intake

The inauguration of 12th intake of the Bachelor of Information Technology offered by the University of Moratuwa was held at the BMICH on the 16th of March 2017 with the presence of many distinguished guests, officials from University of Moratuwa & OpenArc Campus as well as parents of the candidates. Openarc Campus enrolled nearly 200 students as BIT Undergraduates this year too.

Colombo Stock Exchange entered in to an agreement with OpenArc Systems for the implementation of total BI solution for Market Data Analytics, reporting and dissemination of dashboard information to internal users, Listed Companies, Stock Brokers and Investors. OpenArc will be implementing the proposed system in stages. With the implementation of this new solution, all listed companies, Stock Brokers and investors will have a great opportunity to receive meaningful information dashboards through their mobile phones and tabs. OpenArc Engineering Solutions commissioned Automated Conveyor Belt at Advantis

OpenArc Engineering Solutions (OES) recently completed an industrial automation project at a Hayleys group company, Advantis. A multi-directional, multi-level, multi-speed, automated conveyor belt was successfully implemented by OES Engineers at Advantis warehouse and thereby increased the efficiency of loading and unloading by 300%. OES is ready to implement such automation projects in any manufacturing & distribution firms at much lesser cost compared to imported machinery.
